On this day I had my precious son, Nathaniel Blake Moore, 9lbs, 4 ozs. 21 1/2 inches long. He made me wait 21 hours!! His eyes were blue, then changed to brown, like his mom's. |

My niece Stacy was the CHS Sweetheart this school year. She asked Blake to carry the crown, he walked his cousin Brianna. He looks so sharp in that little tux. Of course having such a beautiful little girl beside him, might help a little. |

Blake was so excited to start to kindergarden & he loved his teacher. Blake was a good student & to kind to others, there was a little girl in his room who always wanted his oatmeal pie, she would scratch him on his back and leave marks, even through his shirt. He would come in a tell me, "Mom , she did it again and I didn't hit her, I just told her not to do it again." |

This is Blake's 8th grade graduation picture in his tux! When I saw this picture, it took my breath away, because he looked so grown-up. His smile, and his bright eyes just exemplified his zeal for life and for what he had accomlished. Little did I know he would never again wear a cap and gown, that this was his last graduation. |

Now you see what I meant when I said, Blake really liked this shirt! He liked it so much he wore it when his 8th grade picture made and again in his 9th grade picture. Blake isn't smiling in this one like in the eight grade one. I guess he was trying to look more grown up. ha

This picture was taken at the Montgomery Family Reunion. The cap he is wearing was stolen at school that year. Blake knew who took it, but said," I guess he needed it more than I did", and just let it go at that. In December(2004) I was at Wal-mart and a student came up to me and laid a cap in my buggy, and said, "This belongs to Blake Moore, I'm sorry". I was so took back that all I could say was, " Thank You, he knew who took it." I went to school & found out the childs name. When I talked to the principal to share with him what had happened, he told me the student had not missed a church service since Blake passed away. |

This is the day that a part of me slipped away. I was on my way home from work, with Blake's brothers Nick & Kris, when we came upon a wreck. I knew it was Blake before I even asked. I screamed as I saw Nick & Kris running down the road to help their brother. I prayed to God to help him, I tried with everything in me to get to my baby, but they wouldn't let me. I prayed for him to be alright, but as I looked down the road, I saw it was to late, as they rolled him down the road and into the ambulance in the body bag. On his 17th birthday, Bevin Rice put the ""birthday card" on his locker, it says,"Forever Moore" To My Dearest Love Happy 17th Birthday Blake.
On Thursday night September 2nd, I took Blake's clothes he was wearing when he had the wreck out and I was hugging them, as I was squeezing his jeans, I heard paper rattle in his back pocket. I took it out, it was a letter from Bevin telling Blake how she felt about him. She asked me if he had read it, because she had given it to him as he was leaving school that day. I wish I knew the answer to that question too. On Monday night, August 30th, Bevin and her Mom took Blake out to eat . He had left me a note(because I was gone & he was to come stright home from the volleyball game) saying,"Mom I've gone to Scooter's with Bevin. I GET A FREE MEAL! Hope you don't mind. Love ya, Blake. So I wonder if he ever read it.

This was prom night at Scotts Hill High School(SHHS). This would have been Blake's Junior prom. Nick went instead, with Ly. Oh how I wish Blake could have gone, he would have had such a good time. His classmates said he was there in their hearts. |
